– This four-song acoustic/soft-rock EP was my first foray into the world of computer-based recording. It was recorded entirely on a Macintosh Powerbook G3 running a $29 version of Cakewalk called Metro SE. My audio interface was a simple 1/8″ TRS cable into the Powerbook’s Mic input. A MOTU MIDI interface allowed me to drive a Roland Sound Canvas (SC-55 MKII), a Kawaii G-Mega and an Alesis D4 drum unit, thereby not having to actually record those instruments on tracks.

I designed and produced all the CD art.
